Greeted to overcast sky's and a little rain as we headed to Las Vegas, Nevada. Our destination was the Thousand Trails Las Vegas Campground. Located in East Las Vegas and near the expanding city of Henderson this campground is a little bit is heaven. Not a preserve like the other Thousand Trails, but it does work for us. We have listed on our "to do list" is to visit Hoover Dam, bike in Red Rock Canyon, walk The Strip, and do a little bit of gambling. So far Hoover Dam and the New Bridge Overlook were fantastic. We lucked out on our visit because we missed the previous day's winds. The new bridge addition make this a photographers dream with wonderful vistas.
