-Yucaipa on the Go-

On Thanksgiving Week we ventured to Yucaipa in the Inland Empire to visit Heather, Josh and Collin. We were very lucky to get reservations at Yucaipa Regional Park. It was full 3 months ago, but a cancellation opened the door for us to reserve a full hookup site. This county park is fantastic. It has wonderfully spaced RV sites with full hooks of water, electricity and sewer on asphalt pads surrounded by lots of grass and trees. We took off on a walk around the park, where we photographed lots of birds, for about one hour to stretch our legs after the long drive. We got in our hike just before the winter rain storm hit where it rained most of the night. The next day we ventured off to do errands and visit the Yucaipa Adobe of 1846 and onto the Oak Glen Apple Farms and then to Heather and Josh's for pizza. Thursday took us to Heather's for a fantastic Thanksgiving Dinner with the family! Then on Friday went spent a fraction of the day touring Forest Home where Josh works. So beautiful!
