-Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival-

We were told it was fun. And everyone was on the money. We attended the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival at Lake Skinner the first weekend in June. We were so lucky on all accounts. Arrived early with no traffic so we got a great parking location. Had enough light to browse around at all the vendor booths as well as get a few sips of wine and eat a few things, like a frozen banana on a stick covered with chocolate and nuts. Yum! We then set up camp on the grass infield as the balloonists arrived. There were easily over 12 balloons going to inflate for the "Balloon Glow." Here the balloon were inflated as darkness arrived to create a beautiful background for some wonderful photos. I would encourage anyone that loves good fun, drinks, and photos to attend next year. We were so lucky because it was about 75 degrees at sunset with no winds to mess up the balloonists.
