Camping in July.

Camping for us is such a joy! We love taking our 5th Wheel Trailer out to the many Thousand Trails Campgrounds on the West Coast. This past July we ventured into Santa Maria. Here we visited my sister and her husband while participating in the Windmill 55 Mile Bike Ride in Los Alamos. We then headed up the 101 Freeway to Morgan Hill. Biking, wine tasting, RV looking and eating were our highlights. We biked again at the Coyote Bike Trail which heads along the creek into San Jose. This is a wonderfully peaceful and flat ride from both of us. A fun and adventureous hike at Henry Coe State Park out of Gilroy. After our stay in Morgan Hill we headed to the "Valley" in Manteca at the Turtle Beach Campground. Our main goal was to visit my son in the "Gold Country." It was great visiting him for the short two hours for a tasty lunch in Murphy's, California. After a few hot days along the San Joaquin River we headed back home for things to do on the list.
