20 years ago the distance runners from Newbury Park High School use to run on these trails. But with development, washouts, fires, old age (Mike's) the trails have been "lost" for quite some time. Well, thanks to Ventura County Park and Recs a new foot bridge was installed to cross the Callegas Creek. With a new bridge, new park and lots of foot trails off Mike went to "rediscover" this beautiful part of Ventura County between Moorpark, Camarillo and Thousand Oaks.
