Our goal was to visit Matt in Philadelphia and see a college play he was in at the University of the Arts in downtown. But, because I have never been to the area we decided to stay for a week and become a tourist. During our stay Philadelphia was having all kinds of activities that we took advantage of: UARTS play; Phillies baseball game; Penn Track Relays; Festival of the Arts in downtown. We also saw the other attractions by either walking (lots of walking), trolley, bus, subway or taxi. The places that were a hit with us: Washington DC, Old Historic Philly, Valley Forge National Park, Philly Waterworks area, Philly by the Big Bus, and all of the fun eating places (lots of eating places. However, this was the most fun vacation. All of it so new and different, historic and with wonderful weather too boot. We took so many photos. But, I have divided the good ones up into folders.
