What do you get when you put together a vacation with six great friends? A fantastic weekend in Solvang! Yes, a few of our good neighbors and us took off to Solvang for two days of socializing, wine tasting, eating, shopping and sight seeing in this beautiful part of California. We thought we missed the rain, but as the day lengthened on Saturday it really rained hard. But, we did not lose sight of our goal, to have a great time. We visited at least seven wineries in two days, it is difficult to remember after all that "sipping." We had some great dining experiences at Roblar Winery, Angelica's Restaurant, and Jalama Beach Cafe. The views were amazing, especially on Sunday after the sky cleared.
