Our first stopover on our "La Bamba Desert Trip" was to the Thousand Trails Preserve in Palm Desert. Here we were able to hook up for a visit with Heather and Collin. A great visit with playground time for Collin and lunch at a local sandwich shop, yums. We also had success in setting up our DirecTV in the RV, finally. In the morning we had the best bike ride to La Quinta and the Bear Creek Bike Trail. Such a fantastic fall day in the Coachella Valley. We lost money again at the two local casinos of Fantasy Springs in Indio and Aqua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs. At least we had a good dinner. Heading to Salome, Arizona for an in between layover before heading to Cottonwood, Arizona. Hope the weather is as good there as it has been here in Palm Desert.
