-Metrolink Los Angeles Adventure-

Well, I have wanted to do this trip for years. So, Nancy and I boarded the Metrolink Train from Moorpark to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. The day long trip was perfect! The cost of the roundtrip train ride was $20 each. We made it to LA in one hour. Not bad after stopping at seven stations. We then boarded the Metro Redline Subway, for only 25 cents each (senior price, ya), from Union Station to Pershing Square. The subway is so beautiful, safe, fast and cheap to ride. Our "walking trip" started from Pershing Square to Angels Flight Railway and then to Water Court Mini-Mall and onto the Disney Concert Hall and down to the Bradbury Building and Grand Central Market and eating at Clifton's Cafeteria and touring the Jewelry Mart. All sights were just spectacular today. The sky was blue and the temperature was 70 degrees. After many fun photos we headed back in the subway to Union Station and a short walk to Olvera Street for a quick Mexican snack. This entire "La Bamba Tours Trip" cost very little and we had a super fun time. I would recommend doing the "link" and/or subway into LA. It is fun, safe and cheap.
