-Menifee and Temecula Sightings-

We spent the weekend at the Thousand Trails Preserve in Menifee which is near the wine country of Temecula. So, we wandered around the campground during the early morning hours and were lucky to have the photo opportunities of the "wildlife" on the preserve. Due to the canals throughout the preserve many birds either nest or "compute" to the campground for easy pickings of meals. In the afternoon hours we headed south for twenty minutes to the Temecula Wine Country. Specifically, Wilson Creek Winery on Rancho California Road. This was after our tasty lunch in Old Town Temecula, a former stagecoach stop in the 1890's.
