-Anza Borrego State Park-
Our vacation begins in Palm Springs in early April. Our first adventure was to take a full day exploring the Anza Borrego State Park south of Palm Springs and west of Salton Sea. It was a beautiful "Huell Hauser Day" in the lower desert. The puffy clouds were pushing into the desert from the storm in Los Angeles. This meant a wonderful day to take lots of photos of the blooming flowers, dinosaur statues, vistas and much more. The best time to visit Borrego Springs is late March into the middle of April. Flowers usually bloom that time of year, especially with a good rain season like we had this year.
