-Bees on the Go Away-
While vacationing at the Thousand Trails Preserve in Palm Desert we set up our trailer and headed to lunch. Low and behold when we came back from lunch we were visited to a few unwelcomed visitors. While relaxing in my chair I noticed a very dark limb on the tree nearby. As inspecting more closely I discovered a hive of bees nesting in that tree. So, off to the check-in gate to let the powers that be know of our problem. Many of the park employees came by to see "the happening." The local "bee guy" did his deed and vacuumed the bees and off he went to sell them to a local farmer. Geez, I could have made some money by selling them too. Oh, well, you have to "bee" very careful in today's recession. Check out the photos by clicking on the title header above or going to: http://picasaweb.google.com/2stews1948/BeesOnTheGo#
