Our "retirement gift" to us was a new 5th Wheel Camping Trailer. After it was delivered to our home on December 23rd we made a decision to do a "test run" at the Thousand Trails Soledad Canyon Preserve in Acton over New Years. Well, the trailer was fantastic and so was a "mini hike" we had on the campground. Yes, it is nice to actually see a "change of seasons" in California. The upper desert outside of Los Angeles presents itself with colder temps and lots of falling leaves.
