Cool Breeze Bike Rides

On August 16th Nancy and Mike partcipated in one of our cycling club's activities, the Cool Breeze Century Rides. Mike helped mark part of the route, SAGGED (helped the riders with flats), and set up directional signs. All at 5:30am in the morning. Nancy became the athletic family member today by biking 31 miles from Ventura to Carpinteria and back. The weather was fantastic. 75 degrees, sunny skys and a cool beach breeze. All was followed by a lunch of tri-tip/chicken etc. Wow, lots of fun. The bike ride had over 1700 riders. The proceeds from event go to local charities and clubs.
